About Dr. Nick
Dr Nick grew up in Tipp City, OH and graduated from Tippecanoe HS in 2000. Before attending Tippecanoe HS, Dr Nick was home schooled until attending Troy Christian for Jr High.
Dr Nick first became interested in medicine when he was repeatedly hospitalized for asthma as a child. The realization that modern medicine helped save his life is what sparked his passion for medicine. It wasn’t until after high school that Dr Nick decided on veterinary medicine. Dr Nick’s love of animals and the power of the human-animal bond swayed him to veterinary medicine over human medicine.
After studying Animal Science in undergrad at OSU, Dr Nick attended The College of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University where he graduated in 2007. After graduating Dr Nick studied with a veterinary dentist for a month before returning back to Tipp City to start at the Tipp City Veterinary Hospital and Wellness Center.
Dr Nick has a special interests in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, hip dysplasia and challenging medical cases. He is also excited about alternative medicine including supplements, laser therapy and stem cell treatment. Dr Nick is certified to perform PennHIP hip evaluation, K-laser therapy laser, and stem cell therapy through Vet-Stem.
Dr Nick lives in Tipp City with his wife, 3 young kids and one active puppy. His family keeps him busy away from work. He also enjoys photography, hammocks, reading, tennis, basketball and cycling. Dr Nick volunteers his time for Paws for Hope vaccine clinic and as a photographer for Ginghamsburg UM church.
