Euthanasia

Euthanasia

It’s about Saying Goodbye

Your pet has been there for you through your toughest days, and although it is a painful decision to make, euthanasia is often the kindest gift you can give to your pet. It is an end to their pain and suffering. Euthanasia comes from the Greek words for good death.

We will be honest and frank with you about this deeply personal decision. If you come to the decision to euthanize your pet, we will help you through it. We encourage you to be with your friend if you want to be; euthanasia can be a pleasant, releasing experience. You can help relieve suffering and say goodbye in a strongly supportive environment. Or, we can care for your friend if you feel you cannot be there. One our loving staff members will comfort your pet.

On a limited basis and by prior arrangement, we may be able to perform a euthanasia at your household. Talk to one of our doctors to learn more about this process.

Struggling to come to a decision about this process? This is a very common feeling, you are not alone! Talk to one of our doctors from the comfort of home.

Grief Process

We, more than most people, understand the difficulties that this important decision presents. People often feel guilt and remorse. Let us help you work through the process. You can take your pet’s remains with you for burial at home, or we offer a cremation service. We like to make a permanent paw print with your pet’s name on it for you, at no charge, as a memento. It is a privilege to serve you in this most challenging time.

I love taking my dog to doggy daycare. The associates at the front desk are so very kind, more like amazing. When I bring my dog in for doggy daycare they are excited to see him. I love watching the dogs play on the live stream, such a great feature. My dog loves playing with the other dogs and sometimes he has to much fun. Abby as well as the other girls, but especially Abby, does a great job with my dog and knows when he needs a rest period. I whole heartedly recommend Tipp to Tail Pet Resort and Spa.

We were looking for a vet that was caring and made us feel that our dog mattered to them. Dr. Emily Benedict is very knowledgeable and really listened to us. She was very compassionate. The whole staff made us feel welcome from the time we arrived and beyond.
