Dr. Joel joined our practice in 2019. He has a special interest in immature and geriatric animals, and preventative medicine.
Dr. Joel started his career path while in high school. He worked for a veterinarian, and decided to study veterinary medicine. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Joel hopes to continue learning more about the common and not so common diseases we see in small animal medicine. He is studying how he can help patients that need unique surgical intervention.
Outside of work, Dr. Joel is an avid gardener. He has often shared his love for gardening by bringing in lots of baby plants for the staff to take home. He has a 18+ year old cat name Portia, a senior Boston Terrier named Wally, a Collie mix named Tucker, and multiple fish and reptiles.
