Joy started caring for pets in our lodging department in 2015. Since then she has transferred to the role of inventory assistant, and now works as a veterinary assistant in our medical department. Joy has been certified in the Dog Language 101 and 201 course and she graduated from Miami Jacobs Career College in 2012 with her Associate degree in Veterinary Technology.
Joy would like our clients to know that “As your pets’ healthcare provider, we spent a great deal of time with your pet and develop our own personal relationship with them. When your pet is feeling well, we share in that happy feeling! When your pet is sick and hurting, we are hurting as well. We love and care for your pet as if they were our own – we share the same goal of happy, healthy pets.” Joy enjoys the variety of cases that she helps with at TCVH, whether it is speaking with owners about their pet’s health needs, or calming a nervous pet in the hospital.
When not assisting in the medical department, Joy enjoys spending time with her many furry pets: 5 cats (Fluffy, Garfield, Cali, Oreo, Rainbow Dash), 3 dogs (Pumpkin, Apollo, Zeus), and 2 rabbits (Max & Lily).
